NEWS
After a dismal preseason performance, Denver Broncos quarterback Brady Quinn could be in danger of getting cut from the team.
The Broncos have made it clear that they have special packages installed for rookie quarterback Tim Tebow.
Tebow can’t play in a game unless he is on the active roster, and it’s highly unlikely that the team will keep three quarterbacks.
That means that Quinn has to show some potential and start playing much better for a chance to stick with Denver. ( Read More…)

The Denver Broncos have signed veteran running back Justin Fargas to add depth to the position.
The Broncos have been riddled with injuries at running back, from Knowshon Moreno to Correll Buckhalter.
Buckhalter is expected to return to practice in the next few days, but he has an extensive injury history.
Moreno isn’t expected back until at least the second preseason game and has also shown a penchant for injuries. ( Read More…)

Denver Broncos rookie quarterback Tim Tebow narrowly avoided a training camp holdout, signing a five-year contract worth more than $11 million.
Tebow wanted to report to training camp but was advised by his agent to hold out for a better deal.
His agent wanted more money than wide receiver Dez Bryant, citing the fact that Tebow is a quarterback.
The contract was drafted in such a way that Tebow could make as much as $33 million over the next five seasons. ( Read More…)

The Denver Broncos have signed star linebacker Elvis Dumervil to a long-term contract extension.
Dumervil has cashed in big-time, with the new deal being worth $61 million over six years. About $41 million is guaranteed.
When the Broncos switched from a 4-3 defense to a 3-4 alignment, Dumervil made the change from defensive end to linebacker.
The position flop has worked out perfectly for the Broncos and Dumervil, one of the most feared pass rushers in the league. ( Read More…)

Denver Broncos quarterback Brady Quinn still plans on competing for the starting job in training camp.
Head coach Josh McDaniels has already made it clear that Kyle Orton will be the team’s starting quarterback.
Still, that hasn’t managed to convince Quinn, who believes most jobs are open to competition in camp. ( Read More…)

Tim Tebow’s Denver Broncos jersey is the top selling uniform in the entire NFL even though he has never played a down in his professional career.
In fact, it’s possible Tebow might not play at all this year, and he certainly isnt’ going to be the starter.
There probably hasn’t been a more popular third-string quarterback in the history of the league. ( Read More…)

As expected, the Denver Broncos have named veteran Kyle Orton their starting quarterback heading into training camp.
There was some controversy earlier in the offseason when Brady Quinn said he would compete for the job.
Orton was clearly angered by his assertion, and head coach Josh McDaniels quickly jump in with his support of the veteran. ( Read More…)

The Denver Broncos might be without rookie wide receiver Demaryious Thoms for a little while longer.
The wideout continues to be bothered by a sore foot, which is a result of breaking it in the offseason.
He was limited in minicamps, but the team remains hopeful that he could be 100 percent in time for training camp.
If not, he will likely be limited during the first couple of weeks before slowly getting more involved.

Denver Broncos head coach Josh McDaniels said the team is not looking to trade any of its quarterbacks.
The team has three potential starting quarterbacks in Kyle Orton, Brady Quinn and rookie Tim Tebow.
However, it’s been made abundantly clear that Tebow will not play at all this year, and maybe not next year either.
That leaves Orton and Quinn, the latter of which created controversy recently when he stated there would be a quarterback competition.
McDaniels responded by saying that Orton is the starter, leaving some to believe Quinn could get dealt.

The Denver Broncos hope they have found the replacement to wide receiver Brandon Marshall in Demaryious Thomas.
The Broncos selected the wideout from Georgia Tech with the No. 23 overall pick in the NFL Draft.
Thomas is a tall, speedy wideout who was underutilized in Georgia Tech’s option-style offense.
He broke his foot in offseason workouts, which kept him from showing off his skills to NFL scouts until right before the draft.
Many feel that Thomas will end up being the top wideout from this draft despite the presence of Dez Bryant.
